The AEPM at the Tipoteca italiana

The 2015 edition of the AEPM’s annual meeting brought together 60 speakers and delegates from twelve countries and three continents to talk about the pertinence of typographical collections for today’s designers. Museum professionals, historians, designers, collectors and practising letterpress printers enjoyed two days of talks, visits and intensive discussions around their favourite subjects in the eminently convivial surroundings provided by the Tipoteca italiana, with a topical visit to Venice and the collections of the Quirina Stampalia Foundation on the 450th anniversary of the death of Aldus Manutius.

A photo album of the event is now online at https://www.aepm.eu/galleries/annual-conference-2015/.

The degelates were as impressed as they were fascinated by the remarkable selection of early fifteenth century Venetian editions which the Curator of the Quirini Stampalia had specially prepared for them.
