Digital Typography Library

A wealth of information on the history and techniques of typography

Jacques André, noted specialist and author of numerous books and articles on traditional and digital typography, has just updated his Digital Typography Library, which offers a wide range of online bibliographic sources useful for all those who are interested in the history of typography. Begun in 2008, this resource was initially devoted to type specimens and printing manuals which are to be found on the web. Today it has been extended to cover other kinds of works: historical studies, magazines and periodicals, remarkable examples of printed works, studies devoted to bibliology, writing, calligraphy, reading and the French language.
