Important information: 2023 AEPM annual conference has changed venue

We regret to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances the Atelier du livre d’art et de l’estampe (Imprimerie nationale) is unable to host the AEPM’s 2023 annual conference as was initially planned. We thank the team most sincerely for all the effort they put into the initial planning stages of the programme and wish them every success with the many demanding projects they currently have in hand.

We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this sudden change of plan may cause and for the disappointment of those who were already looking forward to discovering the collections of the Atelier du livre d’art et de l’estampe, which fully hopes to be able to host the AEPM annual conference at a future date.

New venue: Offenbach am Main (Germany)
Klingspor Museum and the Haus der Stadtgeschichte

Quo vadis?
Printing discovering its future

25 – 27 May 2023 (dates unchanged)

As many of you will remember, because of the Covid 19 pandemic in 2020, the Klingspor Museum had to cancel the AEPM conference which it had organised. A large part of the programme took place the following year—but ‘only’ online, Covid oblige—thus depriving us of the pleasure of discovering its extremely rich collections, as well as those of its co-organiser, the Haus der Stadtgeschichte (Local History Museum), also in Offenbach.

This year, the Klingspor Museum has stepped into the breach to ensure that the 2023 conference will take place, in collaboration again with the Haus der Stadtgeschichte and with additional support from the Friends of the Klingspor Museum.

The programme will be close to that which was originally planned for this year and will offer an excellent opportunity to—at last—discover first hand the collections and activities of the Klingspor Museum, the Haus der Stadtgeschichte and their new printmaking  workshop. And of course, as ever, it will bring together people from a wide range of printing museums and other graphic heritage organisations, colleagues and friends old and new, to discuss print and printing past and present.

Full details of the programme will be posted soon, so watch this space!
