Book exhibitions and their audiences
The National Library of Latvia permanent exhibition Book in Latvia is organizing a free seminar on working with audiences for exhibitions primarily dedicated to printed materials, mostly books of all kinds.
The seminar aims to bring together professionals of this very specific and challenging exhibition field, and to encourage the sharing of tools for our most important mission: making printed heritage known and available to all. In the long term, this seminar could stimulate further networking or even annual meetings.

10 May. Case studies on audience development: presentations by the National Library of Armenia / Book Printing Museum; German National Library / German Museum of Books and Writing; Royal Library of Belgium / Librarium museum; Austrian National Library / Literature Museum; National Library of Latvia / permanent exhibition Book in Latvia; Pukstaavi, Museum of the Finnish Book.
11 May. Workshop on audience building, led by Diana Walters, International museums and heritage consultant, trained facilitator and cultural manager who works across the arts, culture and heritage, connecting people and ideas through creative dialogue and provocation.
