Large Heidelberg cylinder press looking for a new home

[Berlin]

Michelle Noack, the operations manager of the Johann König Gallery in Berlin is looking for a new home for a Heidelberger-Druckmaschine. The machine was last shown and operated at during the Belgian artist Kris Martin’s solo exhibition Deus ex Machina at the König Gallery in 2006.

The Machine was built in 1963 and has a printing format of 75 x 56 cm. It was used for 40 years in the famous Belgian printing shop Van Imschoot, principally for printing artworks.

The Artist would like to honour the history of this machine by finding a suitable recepient for it (museum, foundation, private collection etc.) instead of leaving it to sit in the gallery’s storage.
