August Fomm paper cutter
Huize Damiaan is currently home to The International Butler Academy, the world’s leading Butler-training institute, but it was previously a religious institution. In 1892, followers of Father Damiaan decided to found a monastery here. The Apostle magazine, which has been in publication for well over 100 years, was printed and then cut on our premises using this machine. The machine has great significance both in the religious and printing worlds and we hope that this historical piece can be displayed with the prominence it deserves.
If interested in seeing the machine or acquiring it for a museum, please contact Ms. Urvanshi Mahbubani Kaufmann, Education Director, The International Butler Academy at firstname.lastname@example.org.
