Club de gráficos eméritos

The Club de Gráficos Eméritos organizes activities related to culture and printing in different contexts. Its latest visit, on May 27, was to the Casa de la Moneda Museum in Madrid, which is part of Fábrica  Nacional de Moneda y Timbre.

The majority of members have had professional relations with the Spanish  organization dedicated to print money (in different forms), lottery tickets, and tax-related documents, but several members had never had the opportunity to visit the Museum up until now. The visit was greatly appreciated by all the participants who included friends and relatives interested in the world of printing.

The Museum comprises 17 rooms covering the history of money, from a “world without coins”, to Greece, Rome, Hispania, The Middle and Modern Ages, America, paper currency, and the 19th  and 20th centuries and today’s Euro currency.

Room 15 is of particular interest to AEPM members, as it is entirely given over to printing with a display of printing equipment and educational movies.
